Welcome to the Children’s Services Fund Coalition website!  Here you will find the latest information and updates regarding a ballot initiative that will be up for a vote during the November 8th, 2016 election.  We are very passionate and excited about bringing these funds to Jackson and Clay counties.  In counties across Missouri, these funds have proved to be a solution to many of the needs and issues plaguing our communities.  Here is what some of our local leaders in change have had to say about the importance of this fund:

“Having been involved with 5 other successful CSF campaigns across the State of Missouri, I understand the positive impact that these funds have on at-risk youth and families.” – Jim Wallis, Preferred Family Healthcare

“At present, Kansas City doesn’t have the capacity to provide services to all of the kids and youth who are in need care.  With the added help of the Children’s Services Fund, and the growing collaboration amongst our key community service providers, our kids will get the critical help and support they need.  Together … we can all make a difference.”-Barb Friedmann, Community Together

“I firmly believe new resources are sorely needed to address the $80 million financial gap that impacts our ability to provide quality services for our communities’ children.”-Rita Holmes-Bobo, Niles

“The Children’s Service Fund will leverage many opportunities as well as additional funding for services to protect the well being and safety of children and strengthen their families.  It will allow our community to be proactive in addressing what are now unmet needs that are costly to the lives of our children and our society.”- Denise Cross, Cornerstones of Care

Please consider joining our team as we work to provide solutions to the needs and issues that plague our community.  With your help, support and encouragement we can provide real change for children and families in our community.
